Benefits of cooperative learning
There are many benefits to cooperative learning for students. The first benefit is that it is student centered. In cooperative learning the students get the sense of real world experences, in which experiences are drawn from both the students as well as others. For students cooperative learning means that they get to apply what they know, which means they do not just get theory based ideas. They will actually get to see how things work, and get to work in groups or by themselves on certain things. Cooperative learning also develops student's social skills. Students will have to work together, collaborate and come to some idea that they all can agree on. With this theme of collaboration they all have to be decision makers in the classroom. All of these themes go into cooperative learning.
